An account is the set of rights and privileges associated with an individual user, and which permit that user to perform specific tasks within specific portals and applications.

The person designated to control access to a specific application.  For such applications, both the Portal Security Officer and the Application Owner must approve a user's request for access to the specified application.  Generally, only applications which access confidential or otherwise sensitive data are assigned business owners.

Activities and tasks associated with specific uses in one or more computer programs.  While Application Roles are commonly granted based on Organization Roles, they can be requested separately.

An icon, usually containing a pencil, that when clicked, allows a user to edit the specified information.
