Let's look at an example of an irregularity issue that compromised test validity.  A test examiner has completed the directions and instructed students to begin the test sessions.  While monitoring students, the test examiner observes a student with a cell phone out and looking at it. The Test Examiner quietly asks the student to pause testing and requests the cell phone.  She notices the cell phone is open to a web browser with related test content and asks the student to exit the test and leave the testing environment.
